Rising trade tensions between China and the US (and the world)
Last fall I had the pleasure of hosting Michael Pettis for a talk at the George Washington University Law School, in which he predicted a rise in trade tensions between the US and China as a result of China's continued reliance on an export-oriented growth model (as opposed to one driven by internal consumption).
