TWO LAW POSITIONS FOR 2007-08

Johns Hopkins University invites applications for two Visiting Professors of Law at its graduate school located in Nanjing, the oldest, most ambitious, and largest-scaled joint academic venture in China.

We seek applicants possessing a JD, strong theoretical and methodological training, significant teaching experience, and scholarly productivity. Courses offered each year in English may include:

• American Constitution
• American Legal System
• Comparative Legal Cultures: U.S. & China
• History & Philosophy of Law in the West
• International Law
• Topics courses such as Human Rights Law, Environmental Law, Intellectual Property Law, and/or Dispute Resolution

Johns Hopkins will match the home institution’s salary and offer its standard benefits package.  Faculty receive travel, shipping, and scholar’s allowances and are housed in a comfortable, furnished two-bedroom apartment located in a new facility opening in September 2006. One, two, or three-year contracts are available.
