Small Rhode Island Town Goes Bankrupt

"Central Falls, Rhode Island, a little town in the northeast part of the state,
with a population of only has 19,376, has gone into Chapter 9 bankruptcy."

This is a shame. It didn't have to happen.
All this town needed to do was raise taxes and spend more money.
So sad.
