We apologize for the paucity of recent posts while the blog authors have been traveling. Those travels included the 2013 IATA legal symposium. We thought we'd provide a quick rundown of some of the highlights from this year's symposium. Passenger rights regulations, in particular EC 261/2004, were a prominent subject of conversation. The conference also included panels on financing, antitrust, unruly passengers and alternative dispute resolution. The final panel included a lively debate regarding the importance of international air law. Regular blogging will resume this week with our take on the American-US Airways merger and other important developments from the past two weeks.
