FAA Behind Schedule for Rules on Pilot Qualifications, Crew Training
According to a new DOT report, industry opposition has impeded the FAA from finalizing new rules regarding crew training and pilot qualifications. The rules were first proposed in response to the 2009 Colgan Air crash. The FAA hopes to have the pilot qualification rule in place by August.February 5, 2013 | Permalink
