EU Regulators Thwart U.P.S./TNT Express Deal
United Parcel Service abandoned its plans to takeover TNT Express after learning that EU competition authorities would block the deal. The European Commission has not yet issued an official decision, but U.P.S. withdrew its bid after attempts to offer concessions proved insufficient.January 14, 2013 | Permalink
