CJEU Requires Compensation for Flights Cancelled by Eyjafjallajökull Volcano

The Court of Justice of the European Union has delivered its final judgment in Case C-12/11 Denise McDonagh v Ryanair Ltd. As should be expected, the Court largely followed the opinion provided by Advocate General Yves Bot last March. For a more comprehensive analysis of the case and link to that opinion, see our previous post regarding the case.
