The End of Continental Airlines
Continental Airlines is no more. As of midnight, the carrier became part of United Airlines. A commemorative video covering the storied history of Continental (set to music by Frank Sinatra) is available on YouTube here.

Sad in many ways. The end of a legacy. Although, I see that the Continental branding will subsist, to some degree, in the liveries and identity of the combined United brand.
