No Injunction for United/Continental

As noted last week on the blog here, Judge Richard Seeborg was asked to issue an injunction blocking the United/Continental merger as part of a private antitrust lawsuit against the link-up.  Yesterday, Judge Seeborg declined to block the deal, stating that the plaintiffs in the case had failed to show that they would be personally harmed by the merger.  See Judge Allows United-Continental Deal to Proceed, Assoc.
