Havel on Boeing/Airbus Ruling
Prof. Brian Havel, Director of the International Aviation Law Institute at DePaul University College of Law, was quoted in the Chicago Tribune's story on yesterday's ruling from the World Trade Organization on subsidies granted to Airbus by European Union Member States. As our industries struggle to compete in the world marketplace fair competition must reign; otherwise, chaos will reign.
I applaud the finding and hope that companies taking advantage of welfare payments will think twice when competing for business.
