China Antitrust
Update: Insiders’ Perspectives on Merger Review and Private Litigation

Join us for a
webinar on Tuesday, July 16, 1-2 p.m. EDT.

On the eve of the
five-year anniversary of China’s Anti-monopoly Law, Edgeworth Economics is
presenting a Webinar providing an update on antitrust developments in China
from panelists who bring a unique insider’s viewpoint.

Dr. Fei Deng, a
partner at Edgeworth Economics in San Francisco, recently served as an external
economics expert for MOFCOM in its review of the proposed UPS/TNT Express
merger.  She will discuss developments and trends in MOFCOM’s merger
review process and strategies for companies to achieve clearance of merger
filings.

Mr. Ding Liang, a partner at DeHeng Law Offices in Beijing, served as counsel for plaintiff in
two recent landmark cases in China—Qihoo v. Tencent and  Huawei v. InterDigital. He will offer insights into the two case decisions and provide advice on litigating private antitrust actions in China.

Dr. Gregory Leonard, a partner at Edgeworth Economics, will moderate the session.
