Steve Salop to Receive AAI Antitrust Achievement Award
Posted by D. Daniel Sokol
In a very deserved ceremony, Steve Salop will receive the annual AAI Antitrust Achievement Award at the AAI annual conference. I urge as many people as possible to attend as Salop has been a transformative figure in both academic and practitioner communities.

Professor Steven Salop has written very exciting work in Industrial economics on entry, on raising rivals costs and in several other areas always with a view to the practical applications to antitrust applications. In todays world which seems to be heading globally towards oligarchy, this is a very serious and important achievement. The award is richly deserved and needs to be supplemented with others.
