CDC Says Salmonella Saintpaul Culprit - Jalapeno Peppers
Now that the recent Salmonella Saintpaul outbreak has been linked to jalapeno peppers grown in Mexico, a debate is going on about how prepared federal agencies are to deal with contaminations in our food supply and whether this outbreak was handled appropriately. Whether any new laws result from that remains to be seen. In the meantime, the CDC's excellent overview of their investigation deserves notice.
