Employee Fired For Adding Him To Benefits Claim Lacks Discrimination Claim

An unmarried, heterosexual female employee of who was fired because she listed her boyfriend as her "spouse" and "same-sex partner" on her benefit enrollment forms lacks marital status and sexual orientation discrimination claims under state law.
