Perceived Sexual Orientation Not Protected Under State Bias Law, Washington Court Says
A heterosexual delivery driver did not present an actionable claim under state law based on a co-worker repeatedly calling him “Big Gay Al,” because perceived sexual orientation is not a protected status under Washington's Law Against Discrimination, a state appeals court held Oct. 23 (Davis v.
