Prominent Economists Support Employee Free Choice Act

A group of prominent economists placed an add in the Washington Post on Feb. 25, 2009 arguing that passage of the Employee Free Choice Act is critical to rebuilding our economy and strengthening our democracy. That message was also delivered to Capital Hill. A copy is available here.

Suggest economists stick to their trade and leave the law to lawyers. Some of the listed pro-EFCA labor economists undercut their new found beliefs given their own published research.

As one who's had the privilege of working at such a fine institution as EPI (back before I foolishly decided on law school instead of becoming an economist), I say bravo EPI!
