New York Revises Its Style Manual (aka New York's Blue Book)

Lawreportingburea Effective Oct. 1, 2007, the New York Style Manual has been revised. As most New York litigators know, this is New York's Blue Book and is the citation format followed in New York State courts. This Manual is also known as the Tan Book. It is published by New York State Law Reporting Bureau and is available here.

"New Edition of State's Tanbook Implements Extensive Revisions for Greater Clarity" from the New York State Bar Association Journal Mar/Apr 2002 edition has a discussion of the differences. See only five and a half years for a response.
