How to Get the Most Out of This Blog
This is your blog. We aim to highlight useful information for the folks who run and work in Academic Support offices. Whether you’ve been working in the field for twenty years or ten minutes, we hope you’ll find a useful idea among the postings to bring into your daily life in the ASP program in your school.
We shoot for at least six postings each week, so check back regularly. Maybe you want to make it your start-up page when you link to the internet.
You can research past postings on the blog two ways: by the category of information or by the date of the posting.
How? Start at the main blog page and scroll down until you see the words, “Topical & Chronological Archives,” in the lower right-hand column. From there, you can search either by category or by the date of the postings.
If, for instance, you take a month-long trip to Bali and find sources of reading other than the blog, you might want to retrace the steps through the blog upon your return, to catch up on the postings made during the month. If you’re interested in learning more about recent information on bar passage, you could search the postings by the category of bar information.
Talk to us. We’re always interested in feedback on how we could make the blog more useful to you in your daily work. Just click on the link to either of our e-mail addresses on the left-hand side of this page of the blog and send us your feedback.
We also invite you to send a biography that we can post as a “Spotlight.” It’s a great opportunity to introduce yourself to other members of the field.
You can also share your work with your colleagues. Send along a book chapter that you’re working on or an article in progress and invite others to give you feedback.
